Informational Session - New Mental Health Court & Drug Treatment Court in Johnson County

Description

The 10th Judicial District will expand the available specialty courts this fall with a new Adult Mental Health Court and Adult Drug Court. Both courts will focus on treatment-based programs for individuals that qualify and will aim to reduce recidivism. This session will focus on a description of the courts, how they will function, and who will qualify for these programs. This information is being presented for any judge or attorney to learn about this available new resource. Court team members will be present to answer questions. This has not been approved for CLE at this time.
